Hi,
I am trying to figure out if Data Integrator provides CDC. Specifically I want to be able to capture changes on Oracle databases. Does Business Objects have a tool to perform this. Basically read the Oracle logs and ship over commits? Can someone point me to documentation to implement this if it exists?
Thanks
Mike

Yes, Mike DI supports CDC of Oracle.
However, its only that you will have to use Oracle supplied CDC Packages. DI will support CDC deployed at database level, whether its by using logs or by trigger approach.
From Oracle 10g CDC tracking from redo logs is also possible
You can get necessary documentation from oracle site and also admin guide of BODI.
Another easier approach which customers usually go for is through Attunity connectors which we can natively connect to.
Attunity is leader is providing native CDC support for Oracle and other databases.
BODI connect directly to Attunity logs.
