Can someone help me to understand Data integration artifact in HCI - Web-UI under design tab?

I would like to know it's features and typical use cases where we can use Data integration artifact in CPI - Process integration.

--> Can we do Data services integration in SAP CPI - Process integration?

--> Can we use this artifact to achieve real-time data integration?

--> Is there any transformation limitations like SAP CPI-DS?

--> What are the differences between Data integration artifact in SAP CPI and CPI - DS?
