Data conversion by rate and period

Hi gurus,

i am having difficulty getting the right formula/formula combination to help me achieve getting different results of data conversion based on rates for different periods.

Disclaimer: I am aware that SAC has a standard currency conversion functionality but the functionality and elements required do not suit the business process in this project.

the data in question is imported from a live BYD system.

I have successfully found a manual way to convert the currency using cross calculation and input control but i need to take it a step further by converting the data by a specific rate for a particular period.

I tried the formula below but the formula editor keeps throwing up format errors.

I would appreciate any help i can get on this

Just curious about why standard currency conversion could not suit business process? Not having planining license in SAC?

I think the IF condition is expecting a number or integer in the FALSE condition since your TRUE condition is a number. Try 0 in the FALSE condition. 🙂

Thanks for your advice, it helped clear the error on the formula editor. Even though I haven't gotten the result I want yet, I think i'm on the right path
