The cut-over activities which you do for go-live preparation do not depend on the chosen project methodology - you still have to maintain number ranges, create variants, upload master data, initial balances and so on...
The specific tasks depend on your role in the project, the project scope and timeline, of course.

Hi - ASAP is the old methodology, based on the waterfall approach.
SAP now recommends using Activate for S/4HANA, their agile methodology. Check the Best Practices Explorer at https://rapid.sap.com/bp/
Since ASAP is now old (at least 23-24 years old), I am not sure what is needed for cutover.
