Customer data browser authorization error

Hi all,

I wonder if I'm missing something about this app: Customer data browser.

I've added the business catalog requested by SAP, following the help and the Fiori App Library, I've done the usual things I do to have an app up and running.

The app, I have access to, of course.

But when I try to go and look at the details of a table inevitably I get the following error message "No authorization to view object data".

Am I missing something?

Thank you.

Peter

looks like you are missing an auth object, there are few things you can do.

1 - ensure you have generated the role after catalog is added

2 - check SU53 see if there is a auth error

3 - check gateway error log, ensure you dont have any error there.

Cheers,
Ren

Alas I can't do anything you said. Or at least not to that extent. I have Public Cloud. I am "privileged".

I could only try to activate a trace similar to the SU53, but it served me good just once since I started playing with this version of SAP. I'll do it nevetheless and let you know

I've activated the trace and run the app. Nothing. The system logs that I access the app and that I pass through a specific auth object "CDB_OBJGRP_NAM_COL_ROW". The values inside that object are all empty ("No value"). But I explicitely opted to give unrestricted access to every single field of that auth object, so it should not be that the problem. Honestly I think that that object is not the responsible of the auth error because in the trace I don't see an auth error but simply a filter applied. I don't think the system is logging the error I've told you I have.
