CSOL Question

Hi,

I configured CSOL in our Solman system where the CSOL is not working it seems, let me give you two examples.

You can see the attached screenshot where we have two examples of transports which are locked in our both implementation landscape and maintenance landscape development but still we are able to save the transports. The system is not throwing the CSOL lock error.

Lock is happening within the same development system but not across the development system. Like C9DK901467 is locked in C9D system which is maintenance dev system if I change the same object in C9D system then I am getting lock error message but if I change the same object in C6D system which is our implementation landscape the entry is getting saved. Same for C6DK9* transport also, If I change the same object in C6D system I am getting lock message but if I change the same object in C9D system then the entry is getting saved.

First of all for the same object name and object key how two transport from two different development system can be saved in the CSOL table. Whether I am missing anything?

I also attached the CSOL configuration in Solution manager.

Hello Sudip,

As far as I am aware, CSOL can be applicable in 1 landscape. Since you are expecting to create object lock across landscapes you need to reconfigure your configuration accordingly.

Yes Alex, both the development systems are activated CSOL using the report TMW_CONTROL_PROJECT_LOCK. Both development system I means Maintenance dev and implementation landscape dev.

Have you checked whether CSOL was properly activated in the system with report TMW_CONTROL_PROJECT_LOCK?
