Hi all,
Does anyone know where the older archived Runtimes are located? I have a project which I inherited which uses Crystal Reports from 2005. The VB6 project builds these files in the Setup.lst and Crystal Reports is part of this package. However, I am trying to convert this to an InnoScript MSI. I have several files I try to register but they wont.
Crpaig80.dll
Crpe32.dll
Crxf_pdf.dll
Crxf_rtf.dll
Crxlat32.dll
So, does anyone know where the Crystal Reports Runtime for VB6 (from 2005) can be found? I dont want to install the full blown Crystal Reports 8.5 on each machine just to view these reports in the VB app. (By the way we are scheduled to upgrade this application in 6 months to 1 year so please don't tell me to upgrade the application - it is massive and requires 1000's of hours of development time.)
Request clarification before answering.
I'm pretty sure it's not available through SAP, which is the third owner of Crystal since 8.5, which was produced by Seagate Software. If you have the Developer version of Crystal 8.5, I believe the runtime .msi file or merge module should be part of the installation. It's been almost 20 years since I've used that version, so I don't remember where it is under the install, though.

FYI - when you do upgrade here's the link to the latest CR for VS installer and redist packages:
