Crystal Reports for Visual Studio - Developer and Runtime

Hi,

As we are new using this CRforVS13SP30_0-10010309.EXE  (Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio) for our requirement of generating a PDF for a crystal report using this package. But while deploying to server with this package installation, it's asking for Visual studio has to be installed.

But we found a ticket Ref where it's mentioned as

" The developer edition (.exe download) provides the integration with Visual Studio. The various runtime installs are for use when deploying your application after it is developed."

and also suggested as

"1. The development and runtime installs should have the same Service Pack, so it's usually a smart choice to download both at the same time."

But we are not able to find a place where we can upgrade CRforVS13SP30_0-10010309.EXE as well as to download a runtime of this upgrade version.

Please help us on this.

That is correct, the EXE is for integrating into Visual Studio only.

You can get the Installer into VS as well as the MSI package for distribution here:

Also, upgrade to SP 36, the latest release. SAP doesn't support older versions.
