Hi

We are using Crystal Reports 10.0.0.533.

When we try to print, Crystal Report does not select our PCs local default printer. It just selects a MICROSOFT PRINT TO PDF printer.

All other documents outside of Crystal prints to our default printer.

With Crystal reports, we have to go to File, Printer setup, and select our default printer in order to print.

However, an hour later if the file is left open, if we click the printer icon on top, it is back to MICROSOFT PRINT TO PDF.

Why will not not stay on the default printer?

thanks

Hello,

CR 10, and you are using the original release, there were multiple updates to it, ended support years ago.

I don't recall if it had the option to save the printer info.

Go to Page Setup on the File Menu and select your default printer and options, save the report.

It should now select the default as specified.

The reason it's selecting the MS PDF printer is because that's what was saved in the RPT file.

Or, the printer that was selected is no longer available.

Yes we saved the printer in PDF, however about an hour later, back to PDF printing!

Hi

Yes even if you save the PRINTER as you suggested, an hour later it defaults back to PDF. Why??!
