my company has about 600~800 end users and 5 report developers, we develop many reports with crystal reports. now we try to move to crystal server of 5-Concurrent-Access-License, I have a question: Concurrent is for developers or end users? Because in my company many end users will fresh report in the same time,is it limited or unlimited for end user?

thanks for your answer. for me, CAL could fresh report, also it is just for end users, it can't be so expense.

Dear Kevin,
To simplify:
* Report are developed and updated with SAP Crystal Reports
* Reports are shared and distributed with SAP Crystal Server 1 NUL and / or SAP Crystal Server 5 CAL.
Here is the link to the SAP Crystal Solutions feature comparison table: https://www.sapstore.com/medias/SAP-Crystal-Solutions-Feature-2020-comparison-table.pdf?context=bWFz...
Named user license (NUL) is for permanent users while Concurrent access license (CAL) is for occasional users. Typically most end-users are occasional users while developpers are mostly permanent users.
SAP Crystal Server 2020 deployments require 1 NUL as a minimum. Purchased separately from NUL, CAL is added to a NUL deployment. SAP Crystal Server 2020 NUL can be added together up to a maximum of 100 NUL. SAP Crystal Server 2020 CAL is sold in increments of 5 and can be scaled up to 50 CAL (which should be good for up to 1,000 end-users, but this is depending on your use case).
Kind regards
Dominik
