Crystal Report Design in specific format

Hi All,

I am using SAP Crystal Report 2020. I have a requirement of displaying let's say an employee's details firstly in 5 rows and 2 columns then same information in 3 rows and 4 columns matrix format. All these details should come in just one page.

Please find the attached snap for expected output. Kindly let me know if this is possible.

So you have 10 records in the top and 12 in the bottom? Or just the same 10 in the bottom? How are you ordering the data - by name or by Employee No?

Hi,

I have to display same record details everywhere. So 10 (5 rows and 2 columns) records in the top and 12 (3 rows and 4 columns) records in the bottom. We have parameters and based on parameter values the same employee record will be displayed just the difference is of layout.

I tried to use two details section but that is not working.

So, all those 22 Employee details in a page are for same employee?

As for as repeating the details, yes, we can do that.

Possibly for the top 10 Employee details spanning into 2 columns, you can use a sub report by using same query as in main report and link the Employee ID to filter out the data to be displayed in same page for an employee and you can insert sub report into page header section and link it with main report.

For the bottom 12 details across 4 columns, you can implement the same in main report into 3 details sections.

The linking of sub report and inclusion of a "new page after" after the Third detail section will ensure the data for different employees will be displayed on separate pages.

The space (width and length) from an A4 print setup may not be sufficient for displaying all the data in a single page and may have to use some other page setup if that's feasible to you.

Possibly a sample report with saved data might help to analyze it further if you see an issue with these steps.
