Hi experts,
I have a cashflow forecasting model with date granularity of fiscal Year, Quarter, Period, Week, Day (Weekly forecasting).
As part of the long term forecast, it will need to have budget amounts flowing in from a different model, and that model has date granularity of Fiscal Year, Quarter, Period.
Is there anyway for the budget data model to have the period further broken down into the week granularity? Or some workaround tips?
Thanks for any help in advance!

In Cross Model Copy Step there is a option to map dates with different granularity under Auto creation Strategy. See below.
No Auto-Creation: No auto-mapping is defined and dimension members must be manually mapped by creating copy rules.
First day of time period: This option uses the first day of the source date member as a reference to map to the target date member.
Last Day of time period: This option uses the last day of the source date member as a reference to map to the target date member.

Hi
During the copy process, you can just allocate this to a single member as mentioned.
But afterward, you can run an allocation process to split that into the granularity you need on the target.
You will need a driver for that, that you can set as a fixed 1 for each day that is going to receive data.
And on the allocation step, you will have to set on the table the pairs of source month and target month, one by one.
Hope that helps.
Cheers!
