Hi experts,
Do we need to maintain conversion factors for all currency pairs in the system ? Or is it enough to have it for the reference currency ?
Actually we have an issue when translating from XAF to USD, the system requires a conversion factor for this pair whereas we have defined a reference currency (CHF) and the factors for XAF/CHF and USD/CHF.
Any clue ?

Hi Sary,
For Conversion from CHF to USD, follow these steps
1)OBBS(create a new entry and maintain currency translation ratio i.e,1:1 ratio)
2)OB08(To maintain the exchange rates as i mentioned below)
3) Finally transfer global settings so that these changes can be effected to TCURR table.
Thanks & Regards

Hi Jaya,
Thanks for your reply. Well actually my question was about the necessary to maintain a conversion factors for all combination of currencies or only for the reference currency.
In fact, we have defined an exchange rate type with a reference currency which is CHF. In our report we'd like to convert the local currency XAF to USD. The system does it via the reference currency; XAF to CHF then CHF to USD.
In such case, do we absolutely need to have the conversion factor for XAF to USD (1:1)? or is it enough to have factors for XAF to CHF and CHF to USD ?
Thank in advance & rgds
Sary
