Hi,
I have created a Process Integration Scenario in ESR and trying to create ID objects.
I am referring this blog: /people/shailesh.mane/blog/2006/06/29/b2b-configuration-part-ii--creating-the-configuration-using-the-automated-configuration-tool
I am confused while running the wizard.
1) Can anyone please confirm what objects should I create in ID before running the wizard
I have a External Party --> SAP PI -> IDOC scenario (with multiple actions inbetween). I am using PI7.1.1
Thank you,
Pankaj.

Hi Pankaj
When you trnasfer integration scenario from integration respository , the configuration wizard opens and there are four steps
1 select component view
2 assign services
3 configure connections
4 generate
1 select component view -- u just have to select both the application components ( ie sender andreceiver )
2 assign services : first click on sender application component and then click on assign services there you will have to mention your party ( sender ) and sender business service ( if you have already created a party you can select from the dropdown else you have the option to create also
similarlly then click on reciever application component and then click on assign services there also follow the same steps as for sender
then configure connections you have to specify interface mapping and channels and then click on generate to generate objects
hope this helps
regards
NInad

Hi,
I am still stuck
1) Created Party and assigned a Business Component to it. Also created Sender Channel.
2) Imported Business System (for SAP) into ID under Component without Party.
3) ID -> Tools -> Transfer Integration Scenario from ESR
4) Assigning Components for Party (Sender) is fine.
however while assigning Components for SAP System I am not able to proceed.
5) Receiver -> Assign Components -> Business System Components -> I included my SAP Business System (without Party).
6) Once the Bus System is assigned it asks to enter Business Component for External Communication and this is where I am stuck.
I am using SAP PI7.1.1. Please help.
Thank you,
Pankaj.

Hi,
Thanks for the detailed document. It will take a bit of time to read and implement it. Once done I will update the thread.
I read the pdf but could not find any lead.
Is there any place in SDN where I can upload the screenshot?
Or can anyone explain to me how to create a Sender Agreement when we have Party Communication? I think we have to make use of the option Virtual Receiver . Went through a blog which tells about this concept but still confused
Please help.
Thank you,
Pankaj.

Hi Pankaj ,
While you design your process integration scenario . while you do insert application component for sender and receiver
Have you checked the tab " Communication tab --" External party with B2B communication."
I am not sure but this is your problem I guess ,
Please have a look at the link
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/48/ce988318d3424be10000000a421937/frameset.htm
Since you are using IDocs , you cannot use integrated configurations( not sure whetehr its supported in your Service pack version ) hence no use of "sender uses virtual receiver "
QuickLink=index&overridelayout=true
You can use sender uses a virtual receiver while creation of sender agreement then you need not make separete receiver determination and interface determination , in case of B2B scenarios try that option as well
let me know if it works or not

Hi,
Have you checked the tab " Communication tab --" External party with B2B communication."I have checked it in the Application Component Created for External Party. I have not selected it for SAP system (for SAP system I am using Template, is it correct?)
Since you are using IDocs , you cannot use integrated configurationsNo I am not using any Integrated Configurations.
Thank you,
Pankaj.
Pankaj,
If you are using Idoc scenarios , it is not mandatory to use Party. You can go for option :-
Communication Component without party u2013 Then use respective Business Syetem for Sender and Receiver to configure Scenario and rest steps are same.

Hi,
I have to use a Party. The Sending system is not in the client's landscape and hence the need for Party.
Now can anyone tell me what steps are required to be done in Integration Directory for Party communication.
I am trying to create ID objects with the help of Process Integration Scenario and following this blog: /people/shailesh.mane/blog/2006/06/29/b2b-configuration-part-ii--creating-the-configuration-using-the-automated-configuration-tool
I am not able to understand steps 4 and 5 from above blog. Please help.
Thank you,
Pankaj.
