Collaborative Draft (RAP) shows "connectivity issues" sync warning

Hi all,

We're using the Collaborative Draft feature so a few of us can work on the same record together. Whenever we click on Edit/Refresh draft browse, we get this message pop up:

"Due to connectivity issues, the collaborative draft currently can't be synchronized. You can still make changes to this object, but your changes won't be visible to other users and vice versa. You can try to re-establish the collaborative draft by refreshing the browser."

The strange part is there's no actual error anywhere in network. Nothing shows up in the logs, and if we just refresh the page it goes back to normal.

Has anyone else run into this? Just want to understand why it happens even when there's no real connection problem, and whether it's something we should be worried about or just normal behavior with this feature.

This is generally a temporary synchronization timeout in the RAP Collaborative Draft feature, not necessarily an actual network failure. Refreshing the browser re-establishes the synchronization.

Check,

Browser console and WebSocket/network interruptions.
SAP session timeout or proxy/load-balancer timeout.
Required business catalog SAP_CORE_BC_RAP_DRAFT_PC.
Latest SAP BTP ABAP Environment updates.

Hey @sravan_aleshwaram Thanks for Quick response. Currently we are using on-premise and yes we are using latest updates and I also have authorization for S_DRAFT. Still same.
