Client has not yet been generated by a data import - SCC7

Hi , me again,

so many errors after refresh.

In scc7 I have now: Client has not yet been generated by a data import

What can I do ?

I did export the clients correctly, and I checked scc3 and I see no error message.

Any ideas how can I fix this ?

Hi Jordy,

1) Copy the transport file created as a result of client export to your target system transport directory

/usr/sap/trans/cofiles

/usr/sap/trans/data

2) Using STMS , import these request into your target system. Ensure that it is successful

3) Use transaction code SCC7 to perform post import activities.

Above 3 steps will complete your requirement.

Hi deepakkori,

I checked the data and the co file, They were imported already with RC0.

but the same error on SCC7.

Is this somehow affecting the users ? What can I do ?

Hi,

In your then request import into RC0 as well as SCC7 has been completed.

Once SCC7 is successfully and you try to execute this transaction code again, it will result in the error message you getting into.

Hi,

SCC7 is meant for Post Processing after a Client Copy.

You usually do not need to run this after a system refresh.

Incase you've done a client export, then you need to run this on target client after the import has completed successfully.
