Clarification on Using the Same Databricks Instance Across Multiple BDC Formations

Hi Team,

We would like to clarify whether the same Databricks environment can be used across multiple SAP BDC formations.

In our landscape, we currently have:

• A Production formation and a Development formation.
• The Development formation does not have its own Databricks environment.
• In the Production formation, we have Databricks environments for Europe and US, with the US environment planned for decommissioning.
• The Europe Databricks environment is intended to be used for both the Production and Development formations.

Could you please confirm:

• Is it supported to use the same Databricks environment with two different SAP BDC formations?
• Can two separate BDC connections (one per formation) point to the same Databricks environment?
• Are there any known limitations or additional configuration steps required for this setup?
• Could the authentication issue be related to this architecture?
