changing/replacing installation number

Dear all,

There is a possibility of changing installation number after completing a deployment of a sap system? Because the system was installed before placing the order on sap so sap will provide a different installation number the the one from the system so this is the problem.

How can i solve it.

Regarding your query, please refer SAP note 198140: Reassigning systems

This note provides information about reassigning systems to a different installation number with the same customer number or with a different customer number.

Hi,

You can also delete the license key from SLICENSE.

Then request a new license with the correct installation number and install it back.

This is also an another way...
