I am not aware of any option to change the default model currency so that any newly created model uses a default currency other than USD.
Likewise, there is no option to globally change the default currency of existing models to another currency. You must do this one model at a time.
If you wish to request either of these options as a feature enhancement please log your request on the SAP Analytics Cloud Customer Influence site where it will be reviewed by our product owners to see if the request will be considered for a future release:
