Changes Not reflected after deployment from NWDS

Hi Everyone,

I have a DC which I made changes earlier when deployed the changes were getting reflected and now wat ever I change and deploy the changes are not getting reflected at all.

What could be the issue suddenly ...

Is it I need to check on something or activate something ..This is a very Critical DC and needs to be handlied with care.

Hallo Kandaraj

Sounds strange !!!

Is this DC your root DC (Top Level). If your changes are in this DC and its public part is used in some other Root DC. Then you might have to sync the sources once again, deploy all the DC's. If it is still not working using SDM undeploy this DC and deploy it again.

Hi Sentivel,

yes this is a root DC and it doesnt have any sub DCs.

I will try to undeploy to SDM, but is there any option to Undeploy , all i do is add the ear file and start deployment when i do so in QA. and in Dev i directly deploy it through NWDS .

Hi Kandaraj,

Yes, in the SDM tool there a undelpoyment tab (3rd tab). Do the undeployment and deploy it once again. See if it is working.

If it is not working then you have to see it in the Visual Administrator if all the libraries are loaded correctly.

Click server node

Services

ClassLoad Viewer

and then select your DC, in the right side you can see if all the classes/libraries are loaded correctly.

Hi,

Once you try to deploy two things happen. First it activates the code then it deploy the code. while doing that it will do a DC build and if it fails it wont deploy. While doing deployment build for the DC, it will try to do a build for the dependent and used DCs also. so make sure the used DCs are error free else the whole build will fail and it wont deploy though it will activate the code.

U can also do one more thing Just go to internet option and Just delete cookies and temp internet files & clear cache.. ....

Hi,

Have you checked out your DC properly?

Did you logon with a NWDI user in NWDS before doing any changes?
