In CMC, whether the User can enter the options manually? for example, in my crsytal report where i pass parameters like start date and end date. so while publising report in cmc, i need to enter the two dates manually by user. how?
From CMC users can't edit reports or enter the dates manually. The Crystal Reports can be edited using CR Designer and then exported to Business Objects Enterprise to have the updated copy.
The main purpose of CMC is that you can perform almost every day-to-day administrative task, including user management (creating users and groups), content management (setting up folder hierarchy), and server management (starting, stopping a server, configuring server properties) and setting up Seurity to provide user restrictive priveleges. Scheduling of a report can be done through CMC as well as InfoView application.
