CAP: Roadmap

Dear Community,

as many others we are currently implementing our first SAP CAP projects with fiori elements.

We could already gain a lot of experience and knowledge about the new technology. Nevertheless we are also facing several challenges regarding specific topics. In this matter we already searched for a general timeline and roadmap of functionalities which will be rolled out for CAP in future. So far we could not find any roadmap etc.

Does anyone have some information for that?

it would help if you describe the "several challenges regarding specific topics". The next best opportunity to learn about the CAP roadmap is reCAP conference 2021.

Hi Max,

we are currently working on an external version of the CAP 2021 roadmap, it's planned to release it in the official SAP Roadmap Viewer (at least for Q3 & Q4/2021).
Independent of this I also highly recommend to attend the reCAP (un)conference on the 25th of June! 🙂

have you already checked out the capire feature section?

There we list features, which are planned or already in development, but not yet generally available.
