Cannot Open Data Preview Error in CDS

Hi,

I tried to create CDS View, but encounter the following error:

"No content-handler found for content-type "application/xml" and data-type "interface com.sap.adt.datapreview.core.model.TableData".

Currenty i am using eclipse 06-2020, and the latest ADT installed from https://tools.hana.ondemand.com/latest

Below is my SAP backend version.

Please share if anyone have encountered and solved this problem. Thank you

Do you have other systems with more recent SP levels of SAP Basis in your system landscape and does the error occur there as well?

If your system would allow upgrading your backend SP level you might want to test in a test system whether this helps.

Does the error also occur with standard CDS views delivered by SAP, not only custom built CDS views?

Collect all these informations. For me it seems that you can only raise a ticket and provide the information listed below.

1. In the ABAP Development Tools, choose the menu Help > Collect Support Information...

2. In the Create Support Information dialog that appears, specify the location and the name of the support file to be created.

3. If SAP Support has asked you to provide additional data, expand the Additional data area. Select the additional support data that

you need to add to the support file to be created.

4. Choose Finish.

The support files are generated, bundled in a ZIP file, and stored on the specified location on your local drive.

Upon completion, a dialog window informs you about the status and provides you with the options to close the procedure, navigate to

the file location, or copy the location to the clipboard.

What is the "Installed Software Component Version" for the software component SAP_BASIS?

CDS views are only supported as of SAP NetWeaver 740 SP05.
