Cannot change remote source with error message "remote source has active remote subscriptions"

Hi SAP,

We are fetching data from SAP ECC to HANA via Smart Data Integration (SDI). After an S4 upgrade, we are unable to modify the host and port number in the existing remote source and CDC is not happening. We are receiving the following error message in the console:

"remote source has active remote subscriptions: This property cannot be altered: port"

Could you please help us how to modify the remote source details without doing a drop and reload.

Dear Team,

You don't need to do a reset on all the subscriptions to change a remote source's configuration; you only need to suspend the remote source. This behavior is well-documented in the following Help Portal pages and KBAs:
