Dear SAP community,
we have seen that SAP system behaves differently for the invoice types related to the eInvoice handling in Turkey.
Once we cancel the Commercial Invoice at our Service Provider system, we can cancel the eInvoice in the eDocument Cockpit.
When we repeat the same steps for the Consumer Invoice, we receive the interface log that the invoice is not found on the Service Provider side. Therefore, we cannot cancel the Consumer Invoice to make any adjustments on SAP side.
Both invoices were not send to the Governments portal.
Kindly request your support and knowledge if there is a different set-up from SAP.
Thank you very much and best regards,
Annika

Hello Annika,
there is no need to cancel in service provider systems, if you are running standard implementation webservices.
The status cancelled can be set in eDocument cockpit depending on the current status of the electronic documents.
Simply speaking, if the electronic document has not reached GiB system, you can cancel it in eDocument cockpit and afterwards in ERP backend.
Consumer invoice is a bit different, as invoice receivers are not registered on GiB side and therefore such kind of invoices will reach GiB through e-Arsiv scenario, which means service provider will send periodically a list (archive) of consumer invoices to GiB. The receiver will get it another way from you like mail or similar. That's why there is a sent-to-customer-button available in e-archive. Cancellations in this scenario will update the service providers list of consumer invoices.
There are two scenarios that provides a rejection scenario, which is supported by GiB in e-documents scenarios - Commercial scenario (Ticarifatura) and electronic delivery notes (e-irsaliye). In this scenarios the document receivers can reject within 7 days and these rejections will be sent to electronic document sender systems with standard process flow.
For all other cancellation scenarios that are legally possible in Türkiye (e.g. cancellation portal / iptal portali), GiB did not provide webservices in e-fatura and e-irsaliye processes.
Kind regards, Alois
