Can not activate InfoObject after Modification

Dears,

I modified a InfoObject and activate it, but failed to activate, with no Errors.

I changed it's length from 20 to 3, it's a HANA View based InfoObject.

One InfoProvider use this InfoObject, but should have no affect on this.

Transformation .... is something I really don't know about it, maybe this is the reason why it can be activated?

Hi Blangero,

Since you have changed the length, you need delete data from the InfoObject.

P-table and S-table data must be deleted in order to activate the InfoObject.

Dears,

I successfully activate it after delete data from SE14.

But I'm quite sure that I've already done this before, because it will give error message saying there's data in those tables, I should not have missed them.

Anyway thanks a lot for your helps, I'll try to delete data from table even there's no error/warning message mention this.

Hi,

InfoObject length change impacts the tables created when the InfoObject was created for the 1st time. So you need to delete and readjust the tables from SE14 before activation.
