Call event handler via ABSL code

Hi,

I have extended the standard BO Service Request with XBO called Tickets. Now I have an OWL screen where the Tickets are listed. I would like to select couple of tickets on this screen and clicking on a custom button to populate some information to all selected tickets. I have added custom action on the OWL screen but I am not able to attach the Modal Dialog to the Event Handler from UI Designer of the added custom action.

Is there a way to call the Event Handler from UI Designer with ABSL code?

Could you expand your question? For example: You suddenly bring up a Modal Dialog you never mentioned. Is this a custom dialog in the OWL (on the bottom of the UI Designer)? Where is the information you want to put in the Tickets coming from?

The goal is when you select two or more Tickets from the OWL which lists all the Tickets and press the button with the custom action a Modal Dialog to pop up. Once this Modal Dialog pops up you write some notes in input field there and by pressing a Save button in the Modal Dialog to populate the note in all the Tickets selected. The Modal Dialog will be created via the Add New Item menu on the Cloud Application Studio and I want to link it to the custom action I have created on the OWL.

The OWL is standard and I may add only Custom Action or OBN Button but no Embedded Component.
