CAF is the framework to develop and deploy composite applications.
Composite Applications: are the applications which supports highly collaborative and dynamic business process which spans across different systemboundries across and beyond organization.
We consume data and other methods in the form of services and manipulate them as required and presenting them in the graphics that client wants.
Remember that we can take the data from different SAP and non SAP systems.
These composites are the result of the gap that you have found in a Business Process. Now to fulfill these gaps you have to make a application that will fill the gap.
Some characterstics of Composite Application:
1) Repetable delivery: It can be shipped to more than one client.
2) Version: There should be the versions release at some inerval of time.
