Hi all
Can we open BWQ box only for creating queries and Modify them But we don't want people to customize the metadata things there
is is possible? if yes how?

yes it is possible. You can get authorisation for modifying and creating the queries only.

It can be possible . Ask your Basis Adminstrator
for this.

goto rsa1-transport connection in your BW QA system..
on the top right hand side u will see a button 'Object Changeability' with truck icon.Click on it.
In the new screen that comes up..
right click on 'Query Element' and 'Query View' and click on 'Everything Changeable' option.
U will see that entry beside it changes it 'Everthing Changeable' in the list.
Click on tick mark.Done.
After this..u can change/create queries directly in QA.
To stop this..go to same screen and right click and then choose option 'switch changeability'.
