BW Hierarchy - same Node - Leaf in Design Studio

I'm having problems with the display of an hierarchy in BO (testing in Design Studio).

Under each node i get the same leaf.

What I get:

1000

     1000

     1001

     1002

2000

     2000

     2001

     2002

What I want:

1000

     1001

     1002

2000  

     2001

     2002

We did change (the first option) hierarchy attribute setting in RSH1.

After this change it is working in the Bex analyzer but not in any of the BO tools.

What am I overlooking?

Can you try to enable the first option like this ?

But I guess that's what you did.

When you say "any bo tools", which one are you talking about ? It should work as designed in Design Studio, Analysis for office and Olap, but can't say for Webi.

That's the option I already enabled.

Behavior with the following tools:

BW RSRT: OK

Bex Analyzer: OK

Design Studio: NOT OK

Analysis for Office: NOT OK

Analysis for OLAP: NOT OK

Webi : did not test.

I haven't seen anything like this; it does sound like a BW backend setting

Could you share your screen shot of the InfoObject for the hierarchy tab back in BW?  Transaction RSD1?

I did a compare but all settings are the same.

When I start the query in RSRT I get the correct hierarchy.

So it looks like BW the BW settings are ok.

Maybe something wrong between BW -> BO?

What are the hierarchy settings in the BEx query?  Could you share a screen shot of those?

Hi,

One more suggestion is don't change initial view of data source in Design studio & then try whether its work or not !!!

As we know, if we created conditions in Query designer then it will work in design studio only if you use query initial view as it is otherwise that conditions will never work.

Please try once.

I did make some changes so used the "reset initial view" button and ran the application again. No luck..

Strange, for me this has always worked the way you want it to.  Not sure what is going on with your scenario.
