Hi SAP friends

Does anyone have a guide or link where I can find hardware requirements for the different 3 SAP BO Edge Business Intelligence?

I do not think that the master guide of NetWeaver could be useful. I thing SAP Business Objects Edge Business Intelligence is for mid-size company.

Does anyone can help me with this topic, please?

go to http://service.sap.com/bosap-support and select the Supported platforms link. You can find the H/W requirement for BO Edge there.

I was wondering iy you could know if there is a sizing process related with SAP BO Edge BI, like SAP BW 7 implementation.

I entered the sizing URL:

I couldn't find SAP BI Edge BO section in the sizing questions.

Would you mind to give some tips for this subject, please?

For the time being it is not possible to get a sizing estimation for BO Edge using the tool you mentioned.

Keep in mind that BO Edge does not support clusters rather it runs on a single machine.

How many users do you plan for your system?

Hi there!

After a couple of meetings we are considering 150 users for the system.

But in future we are expecting in 2 years a growing about 50%.

Does anyone know about a special sizing process for SAP Bo Edge BI?

You should consider installing BO Enterprise. The licensing model for BO Edge does not support more than 100 users.

my mistake. The correct number is 50 users.

Suggestion: never post a message in which you include numbers at the same time you are checking your personal finances. LOL

Then BO Edge should do for you. Please note that it does not support clustering and therefore you are limited on a single machine. Are you planning to install it on Windows or on Linux? I would recommend to start with at least 4GB and dual core processors >= 2GHz.

There is a planning to implement it on a Windows Platform. (I can access the requirements guide in the link you previously posted)

My questions are the following:

• Can you have a combination between Windows platform and Linux platform?

• Does anyone have a link in which I can find all the information about SAP BO Edge BI? products (a complete technical information related to installation or troubleshooting)?
