Business objects , Data integrator , Rapid mart

Hello experts,

I need to implement Business object Rapid mart in my project at ERP end. I need to know how the the functionality of data integartor and Rapid mart how the data is fetched from ERP system. Wats the use of data integator , Rapid mart how are they interconnected . How are the repots built on Rapid mart.

Can anybody guide or send me the links related to the concerned topics.
