Hello everyone,
I created a new Subaccount in BTP Cloud Foundry and I now need to create a Space.
In the past, clicking on "Enable Cloud Foundry" was enough to trigger the environment creation.
Now something has changed and it asks for the following information, in particular the Instance Name, which is not really clear to me what should represent.
BTP SAP Help does not document this field (Create Org, Creating a Cloud Foundry Organization and Space)
Can someone please explain a bit better how to decide the Instance Name in order to make it meaningful?
Thank you!
Regards

Hello everyone,
I'm reporting below the answer received from SAP support in the incident that I've opened, maybe it can be helpful.
To actually use an environment in a subaccount, you need to enable it by creating an instance of that environment. For the details, please refer to the document. When you create an environment instance that enables an environment you want to use, the name is generated automatically for you. You can use that name or replace it with the name of your choice.

We recommend you use a CLI-friendly name to enable the managing of your instances with the SAP BTP command line interface as well.
A CLI-friendly name is a short string (up to 32 characters) that contains only alphanumeric characters (A-Z, a-z, 0-9), periods, underscores, and hyphens.
It can't contain white spaces.

Hi giulia.felappi
It seems to be some issue with your account.. usually it doesn't ask this pop-up.. can you try deleting it and re-creating your subaccount.. If you still face an issue, log a ticket.
