BSP-- %_ONLAYOUT method not available...

Hello Expert,

I am new to BSP applications.

we are working code optimization technique with different t-code called /VFORGE/CP it is like code inspector.

in this we are able to see some alerts like hard coded and authorization missing etc..,

These alerts are showing BSP application also on %_ONLAYOUT method for very BSP applications.

But when i open BSP application in SE80 i am unable to find %_ONLAYOUT method these issue occurs for all BSP applications.

ONLAYOUT method is available in class CL_BSP_PAGE,but there is no implementation for this method.

I am really struggling lot for this issue and requesting please help me.

With code profilers you can usually switch off checks or ensure that they don't apply to specific objects or name ranges.

Rather than try to make your BSP conform to the code profiler, get the code profiler configuration fixed. (One of my client's systems, CP isn't configured for interfaces, so makes OO programming a bit difficult...).

As Matthew said, don't let an ABAP code analyzer check the code of %_ONLAYOUT because its ABAP code is generated by SAP (or do you say it checks the ABAP code inside the HTML?)

Each BSP page has a generated class prefixed CL_O2 (for instance CL_O2491ZL7SCR2TLAJ05RJNPFUQWC) which inherits from CL_BSP_PAGE. Each class redefines %_ONLAYOUT with ABAP code corresponding to the HTML layout that you or your fellow developers have defined for the BSP page (this ABAP code is generated of course).

For information, I don't think there's an option to display the generated ABAP code from the BSP page, but you can know the name of the CL_O2 class by looking at the table O2PAGDIR, in column IMPLCLASS, and you can display it only indirectly by using a program like RS_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN, by searching "." in the class (because the standard display of CL_O2 classes redirects to the editor of the BSP page).
