Hi,

I am new in BO, few days back i went to one Interview. The Interviewer asked one question to me.What is you role in BO.

What should i tell to him.

Please tell me any one.

What do you think your role is?

Say you are a complete beginner with a great interest in the area and you're really keen to learn and happy to spend your own time doing so. If you lie to me in an interview, how much more are you going to lie to me during the job?

BO is not just an OLAP tool. It is a reporting platform and a tool suite for providing many different types of reports via different delivery mechanisms.

if you gone thro BI you should know about Bex and Wad , Similar BO is a reporting tool like Bex, where we can connect different server including Sap server to generate Report. Report will be More GUI base

Hi,

BO is a OLAP tool, it is manuplating data from Data base and reporting to client required data for analysing perpuse.

webi and deski is client side tools. the client work on webi or deski, so your role analyse data from data base and designing universe.
