Hi,
I am new to Dashboard. I want to access a year's data (appox 50,000 records) in dashboard. i am creating a dashboard for complaint management and want to view information in a chart i.e. in a year how many complaints were registered against each candidate. I have to get records per year and then count the no. of complaints registered against each candidate. user will select the year from a dropdown and its information should be displayed in a chart. I am using query browser to connect to BEx query. I have searched over the net and found we can access 512 or max 2000 rows. how can I implement this?
Thanks,
Rajwinder

Hi Raj,
Similar issues has been discussed a lot in the community, First let us be clear about dashboard which is always meant to display the data in summarized level not at the detailed level, as a developer we need to educate the customer regarding this, if they still require to view this navigation we can suggest them to use crystal or webi report.
Honestly speaking dashboard will not be ready to accumulate this much data, as seshu suggested try the above logic, but not sure how much its going to help you in data rendering, performance & load-wise.
