Bex Analyzer - Unhandled exception has occured ('Hierarchy Node Leaf' selection in Variable Screen)

Hello everyone,

We are getting below error message when we execute reports in Bex Analyzer.

The error message is coming up when we select the "Hierarchy Node leaf" (Very lower level node, but report is working fine with the other nodes I.e with Top level node and its sub level node) at the variable screen. We have total 3 hierarchy levels and report has been working fine for first 2 nodes, and the problem is when we select 3rd or lower level node.

Note: These reports are executing fine when we execute them in RSRT and in SAP Portal using the same Hierarchy Node Leafs. Not sure why, could some one please suggest if you guys ever faced this kind of issue.

Hello,

Are you on SAP GUI 7.50 ? Are you on latest BEX patch level?

There are some Notes on OSS for 'Unhandled exception'. But nothing specific on 'StartIndex'...

If you are on latest patch, and you can reproduce the issue on different PC probably this calls for an OSS incident.
