Behavior of Smart Multi Input paste value from excel

Dear SAPUI5 expert, 

I recalled we could paste value from excel into Smart Multi Input with value help. However recently I checked this functionality was not supported for Smart Multi Input with Value Help.

Sample Data: 

Copy below values and paste in Category with Value Help from Annotations, only last value was pasted.

CAT1
CAT2
CAT3

Copy below values and paste in Category Product Value, all values was pasted. 

700001
700002
700003

Questions: Why Smart Multi Input with value help does not support paste multiple values from excel?

Tried the above example and for me everything works fine. Might be fixed by now.
