Dear SAP Community,
We are facing an issue when trying to generate Auto Documentation of a Calculation View (SAP BW 7.5 on HANA) in Eclipse :
Error occurred Cannot invoke "java.util.Map.values()" because "<local1>" is null

Windows 10 / Eclipse Version 2.3.400.v20201202-1800 / Java 8 update 281 (64 bits)
It happens on other PC. SAP Softwares in Eclipse are up to date.
It appears that with Eclipse Version 2020.06, Auto Documentation worked correctly.
Do you have suggestions to help us to analyze and fix this issue?
Thanks in advance for your help,
Regards,
Pierre-Louis

Hello
after talking to some Developers it become clear, that the Crystal Reports Eclipse Add-In (only 32-Bit) is not compatible with the current SAP HANA Studio Version 2.3.60 and higher, as they are now compiled with JAVA 11 and between JAVA 8 and 11 fundamental Changes not allow to stay compatible.

As long this is not fixed, this Functionality will not work as expected in the SAP HANA Studio.
Best Regards Roland

We do have an answer few days ago, but no resolution for this issue.
They are just recommending us to use Web IDE, but it's not usable for BW stuff.
Below the original answer from SAP.

Hello Pierre-Louis, I check this error internal and found one issue which is currently in investigation of the Hana Modeler development support. Please open a support incident to the component HAN-STD-DEV-MOD-CLT and send it to the Product Support. They will further investigate in this issue and request files, to possibly forward this incident to the Development Support team.
