Authorization issue while doing reporting using composite provider

Hi,

I've created a bex query on Composite provider.  This composite provider have union on two DSO's and these two DSO's have 0distr_chan infoobjects.

The field is represented as 0distr_chan and @3ZSDCP005@F4 in composite provider.

I've added 0distr_chan in authorization object and even after this I'm getting error on field: @3ZSDCP005@F4, which is the duplicate field representing 0distr_chan.

While executing bex query through rsecadmin transaction ->Analysis->Execute as:, then providing user id, and query name, I'm getting not authorized and the field @3ZSDCP005@F4.

Kindly suggest how to handle authorizations on composite providers.

Plz find attached snap shot of the error message:

Regards,

Antony Jerald.

Hi

Can you please share a screenshot of RSECAUTH where you have set the authorisation for 0distr_chan.

Apart from the value for 0distr_chan, have you set some thing like 0distr_chan EQ :

Hello,

If the char is a Navigational attribute then this is the issue. Currently the functionality of providing authorizations on nav attributes created on analytic indexes is not available.

If not please check Note 1785610 - Analytic index: Insufficient authorization check
