Application Designer - Size & Position

Hello,

I am new to application designer and don't know much about scripting. I need help!

I have an image and a button below it called IT and below that, I have a text box.

When I view the dashboard the image and text boxes are not aligned properly. Is there a way to set the button relative to the image? The device option is set to Auto. Since I want it dynamic I am setting the size to % vs px.

Hi James,

I have a shape inside of a flow panel. The size and position are for the shape and not for the flow panel.

Hi James, Thank you so much for your reply.

I have the image, button, and text box inside of a flow panel. When I run the application there is a space. If I view this on a smaller screen it looks ok but on a bigger monitor, it looks like this. Please see the Size and Position set for each widget. Thanks for your help!

Hmm must admit I'm not sure (I personally hate flow panels as they're such a headache to work with)

I've just tried using a flow panel and oddly I don't see the same sizing/positioning options you have in your screenshots for the various widgets

e.g. for the shape all I get are Width & Height options

Not sure you will need scripting - i've just tested using the example below and it seems to align ok
