Analysis for SAC - Scheduling possible?

Hello experts,

I´m wondering if the scheduling functionality is also available for Analysis for SAC?

I created a workbook (.xlsx file format) and saved it to my SAC tenant. When I select it and want to schedule it - the option is not available.

And yes my Tenant is able to schedule reports, stories and applications gets scheduled already.

If this feature is not available now - is it on the roadmap?

Hi @mario_panzenboeck,

even if the topic is a few years old, I want to inform you that as of today it is perfectly possible to plan and customize schedules for both AfO workbooks saved on SAC and for the SAC Stories and Applications themselves.

This is possible through “APOS Publisher for Cloud” which is a program developed by APOS Systems (an SAP partner).

You can schedule, program and customize publishing from SAC as you prefer, it practically has the same publishing capabilities and dynamisms as BO and even more.

As mentioned by Jeanne scheduling of workbooks are not supported by SAC. Although you can use automation bots/ software like "Blue prism" to automate the entire workflow and distribution. Blue-prism will automate the report opening> filling workbook/report filters>execution> distribution (email/ shared folders).

In fact you can looking into SAP RPA for bot based automation as well.

dear Mario scheduling it is not supported with this version and also not possible on top of SAC with AO workbooks . Scheduling is a service provided with the BI platform and AO standard edition . Best , Jeanne
