Analysis for excel not showing values in master data table

Hi gurus

I have a bex query with the acces type for results value marked as Master data, and Filter value Selection marked as Values in master data table, for 0FISCPER3 characteristic.

The result is that bex query shows 12 months per each selection, including those months without posted values

It runs OK in bex analyzer and RSRT, but when I execute it in Analysis for office, the first row showed is first row with values.

any idea to show the first 4 rows?

Hi,

I think I have a similar issue. When using BEX Analyzer, values of master data are displayed (which I can then apply zero suppression), however when using AO 2.8, only values that have had postings on are displayed (using the same underlying BEX query).

My underlying data provider does not show all master data values in AO, so when using SAPGETDATA formulas I end up with #VALUE. Whereas in Bex analyzer in the same query using BEXGETDATA formulas I would get 0. Is there a way to change the AO configuration - I don't believe it can be anything to do with the query as it works in BEX Analyzer.

Unfortunately not - currently using iferror formulas which is not great as could mask other errors / problems with data but we have other validations to hopefully ensure all data we are presenting is correct. If you do find a solution please share as it would be very helpful. Not sure if anyone from SAP can respond directly or whether we start a new thread to get more people looking at it.

We have also now lost our BEX so I can't actually show the issue i initially explained which is a bit frustrating.

Hi,

AO has a client implementation of zero suppression; you may check whether the effect comes from zero suppression.

No we do not use Zero Suppression but query shows only booked Data
