Analysis for Excel - currency conversion types available?

Dear SAP Community,

I am trying to figure out how I can edit the dropdown list with available currency conversion types in analysis for office. E.g. I insert an Infocube and browse through it and I can translate the data with predefined in rscur conversion types. But in the dropdown list only some of the available ones are shown:

So I have conversion type 1 and 2 available. Conversion Type 3 is available in the system, but not in my drop-down in analysis for excel.

Hi

I have a same related problem.

In Analyzer, we have the option in Local Query Properties--> Currency Conversion

We have a check box for " First Apply Currency Translation from Query Definition"

How can we achieve above functionality in Analysis for Excel

Hi Gizela,

I'm facing the same issue, I would like to add one more conversion type to the list and I would like to change the description of one of the alredy existing ones. Unfortunately changes in transaction OB07 doesn't help. Do you found a solution on this?

"The selection options in the Target Currency and Currency Conversion Type lists are interdependent. Depending on the currency you selected, the system offers you all conversion types that support this currency. To be able to display all conversion types again, choose the standard setting Display Original Currency. Conversely, if you select a particular conversion type, the system shows all currency options for this conversion type." - source: SAP
