Allocation Process Unassigned Value

Hello everyone,

I am learning about allocation processes on SAC sample dataset. The goal is to distribute IT Expenses from Product Category to Product, by Gross Sales.

After running allocation process, the Unassigned Product value should be 0, but in my case it is not. Does anybody know why this happens, and how can I reduce this value to zero as a result?

Please post screenshot of your allocation step configuration. Check if you have ticked the keep source option there, it should be unticked.Nikhil

I think you shoudl exclude unassigned from target .
