Hi,
I could not understand why "All" option shows up in Input Control even though when its "Settings for Users" is set to "Single Selection" (inputcontrol-aa.png). After choosing the option "Single Selection" and when the story/Analytic application is opened in view/run mode i see Input Control values with radio button which is correct. But why "All" option is available (inputcontrol-aa1.png). As per my understanding when "Single Selection" is set "All" should not show up. Is it a bug with the tool or am i missing something here. Please help me in understanding this.
Thanks.

Hello deshmukh,
I think the name "All Members" can be misleading in some context. Although this is the way to cover couple of scenarios -
If you want to restrict all selection and still keep the dynamic list update function - you can uncheck the "Select All Options" shown below:

Thanks debjit.singha for explaining the use of "All". This clears my doubt. As per your second point i should be able to see/select "All" in the input control during the development. I could see "All" in input control while developing a story. But the same is missing in Analytic Application (AA). Please refer "inputcontrol-aa.png". We are filtering on dimension that has more than 500 values and when a new value is included into that dimension in the database it becomes difficult to select it manually in AA. Please verify if you can see "All" in AA in design time. Please share the screenshot if you find it at your end.
Thanks
you are correct. Seems like its different in Designer.
Hi there,
If you select the input control and click the 3 dots, you can change the settings to de-select the Show 'All'.
