We have been running an ADS 7.1 since 2004.Is registration / activation (by Phone, Email or Internet) still possible for ADS 7.1 in case of reconfiguration or recovery scenario?

Sorry for the delay. The activation server has been shut down. You may need to upgrade to 8.1 or later, which does not require registration.

if you export the activation, the old server will stop running. IIRC you need to initialize the license transfer at the target.
ok, I thought so. Now only the question remains, what to expect in case of a failure?

It should be possible to export the activation and import it into the new installation. Sorry ... haven't worked with V7 since ages...
