Advanced DSO: Adding InfoObject

Hi all,

I am facing an issue when trying to model an Advanced DSO directly from Eclipse-based BWMT: I am not able to add any InfoObject to ADSO structure. In the "DETAILS" tab, when I choose Add InfoObject no IO appears in the result list.

Moreover, when I add a simple field (no InfoObject field) to the ADSO structure with BWMT, I am not able to see it using RSA1.

Could anyone support me on these issues?

Currently, we upgraded from BW 7.4 SP 9 to 7.5 SP4. I want to add an InfoObject to an ADSO. I get the following error message: No NO2 InfoObjects will be found because Planning on Direct Update is not configured. SAP has not come back with any solution yet. Can anybody please share some lights on this issue?

Hi, when I select only shows key figures InfoObjects.

The version is SAP BW 7.5 SP 1, BI_CONT 757 SP9, permits were checked

someone can guide me about it?

You could check if BW Search is active at all in transaction RSOSM.

Thanks Simon, now the search shows something, It shows units, but It still doesn't work properly, I don't see any characteristic or key figures.

Hi Rosmar,

We encountered exact the same issue. We upgraded our BW up to 7.4 SP13. We use the last version of Eclipse BW development tools and can see only Units at ADSO Add InfoObject Search. Please provide the solution if you have one. Thank you.

Rosmar, you can try to implement 2152359 note. SAP support team recommends to do it. I implemented it on our BW system, but it took no effect.

Hello Experts,

I have a same issue just after upgrading BW7.5 sp1 -> sp2.

BWMT can't find InfoObject reference when creating ADSO.

Can anybody help me?

Hi Nicola,

As pointed out by Roland, first thing is that you need to make sure you have correct version of BWMT and BW 7.4. Recommended version for hassle free aDSO activites is :

BW 7.4 SP10 on HANA SP9 (or higher). I am working on 7.4 SP11 on HANA SP10 and it works well.

On prior levels, the requisite SAP Notes has to be applied.

What version of BWMT and BW 7.4 SP are you using?

There were some Composite notes provided by SAP on BW modelling tools(For 7.4SP7).

we have and we are not able to add an infoobject anymore to an advanced DSO.

We are waiting for a solution from SAP.
