Adobe LiveCycle Designer Error While Opening Document from SFP Layout

Dear SAP Support,

I am facing an issue while opening Adobe Form layouts from transaction SFP.

SAP GUI Version: 800 PL9

Adobe LiveCycle Designer: 11.0 for SAP Solutions

Issue:
When opening the Layout in transaction SFP for any Adobe Form, Adobe LiveCycle Designer throws the error: "Error While Opening Document"
Troubleshooting performed:
1. Reinstalled Adobe LiveCycle Designer 11.0 for SAP Solutions.

2. Reinstalled SAP GUI 800 PL9.

3. Executed SAP GUI Installation Check.

4. Restarted VDI.

Important Observation: The Adobe Form opens successfully when SAP GUI is started using "Run as Administrator". The issue occurs only under normal user privileges.

Could you please advise whether there are known issues related to SAP GUI 800 PL9, Adobe LiveCycle Designer integration, plugin registration, or frontend authorization requirements? Screenshots and frontend traces can be provided if required.

The note 2187332 - Adobe LiveCycle Designer 11.0 - Installation / Patch - SAP for Me says:

"Standalone installation / patch

Attention: Make sure that you have administrator rights on your PC."

 Adobe Form opens successfully only when SAP GUI is run as Administrator, the issue is most likely related to frontend permissions, registry access, or Adobe LiveCycle Designer integration, rather than the form itself.

The behavior strongly indicates a Windows authorization/registration issue on the frontend. Engage the desktop/VDI team to validate user permissions and component registration rather than focusing on SAP backend configuration.
