Hi,
Smart forms / scripts are used to show the data in SAP. Most likely you will use these to print / display some kind of reciepts / forms. Many companies must be using this for hard copies / ALE / EDI or to transfer data from SAP to others.
Adobe forms are used to post data into SAP from SAP too. So this has an additional feature compared to smartforms.

Another difference is you cannot convert Adobe form to HTML. So you cannont integrate the Adobe form in an email body, it could only be as PDF attachment

Hi,
Adobe forms are way more advanced than Smart Forms. The main difference between the adobe forms and smart forms is:
we have interface in the smart form itself, which makes that interface being used in one smart form. But in Adobe form , we create the interface outside of adobe form and use the previously created interface in our form, which makes that Interface usable in more than one adobe form.

Hi Ankur,
Adobe forms are more advanced than Smartforms. You get the output of these in Adobe, so this ensures extra security to the generated doc. You can generate Adobe forms in Tcode SFP.
Kindly check this and get back to me incase of any queries.
Dont forget to reward points if found useful.
